We are actively seeking a Technical Translator. This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in Japan.

Position Summary

Rimini Street provides support and software updates for issues, application fixes, regulatory compliance, taxation updates, payroll updates and much more.

This position is responsible for translating/interpreting service delivery communications between clients and the Global Team as follows:

Translating cases from customers to the Global Team: Japanese to English
Translating responses from the Global Team to customers: English to Japanese
Translating documents related to marketing materials, such as press releases and sales presentations, and technical materials.
When interpreting or translating, advise RSI engineers to be mindful of Japanese business customs.
Understand and follow support processes and respond quickly and appropriately to translation/interpretation requests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Provide in-depth knowledge of translation
Assist the Support Team with translating activities related to support cases
Work closely with the global support team to ensure adherence to the high quarity communication with clients
Be committed to excellence and high quality standards
Support general affairs (Copy the documents, support of Event etc)

Minimal Qualifications

Education

Bachelor of Administration, Accounting, Economy, Foreign Studies or Law.

Location

Remote - Japan

Experience

Extensive experience (10+ years) with Translation activity.
Ability to work closely with team and clients to ensure effective communication.

Skills

Strong translation skill (English into Japanese, Japanese into English)
Experience in the supporting IT project.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well with other team in a company.
