We are looking to add a UX & Community Manager to our team!  

 

 

LOCATION: Fully Remote 

REPORTS TO: Director of Product Design & UX 

PAY: $110,000 - $120,000/ salary 

 

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITES:  

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:  

Marketplace Audience Strategy 

  • Develop and execute segmentation strategies for pet parents and service providers to personalize onboarding, engagement, and retention campaigns for the community of users. 

  • Manage user engagement and lifecycle marketing initiatives across both sides of the marketplace (email, push, SMS). 

  • Build robust audience personas and cohorts based on behavioral, geographic, and service usage data. 

  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing and Ops to activate regional growth strategies and improve supply-demand balance. 

UX Design & Usability Research 

  • Lead user research and usability testing for both customer and provider experiences. 

  • Collaborate with product and design to improve search/discovery flows, booking experiences, onboarding, and profile management. 

  • Translate audience insights into UX improvements and journey maps tailored to multi-sided user paths. 

  • Drive A/B and multivariate testing to validate feature changes and messaging strategies. 

  • Design new or augmented features and manage the creation and maintenance of prototypes of the product in Figma.  

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Serve as the voice of both pet parents and providers in product planning and roadmap prioritization. 

  • Facilitate feedback loops between marketplace users and internal teams to drive iterative improvements. 

  • Align with operations and support teams to identify friction points and design scalable, user-centric solutions. 

Qualifications 

Experience & Technical Skills 

  • 3+ years in audience development, CRM, or community growth—ideally within a multi-sided marketplace. 

  • 7+ years in UX research or usability testing, with demonstrated impact on product development. 

  • Experience with tools like Figma, Google Analytics, Type form, User Interviews, Lookback and Segment. 

  • Solid understanding of marketplace dynamics, including trust, supply activation, and churn reduction. 

  • Ability to synthesize UX research and analytics into actionable product and marketing strategies.
