A Brief Overview

Responsible for support, administration, governance and advancement of SharePoint Platform at WellStar Health Systems. This position plays an integral part in the development of strategies for optimal use of SharePoint and other collaborative tools within the organization.


 

What you will do

  • Responsible for the administration and Upkeep of our SharePoint online intranet to include:
    • Manage and maintain the SharePoint Online environment, including site collections, libraries, lists, and workflows.
    • Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring they can effectively utilize SharePoint Online features.
    • Customize and configure SharePoint Online sites to meet business requirements, including creating custom web parts, pages, and forms.
    • Implement and manage security policies, permissions, and compliance standards within SharePoint Online.
    • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures related to SharePoint Online administration.
    • Provide training and support to users

  • Assists with Power Platform activities and development as it relates to the Intranet. Assist with development and manage solutions using Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to automate processes, create custom applications, and generate insights related to the Intranet. 15%
  • Self Development- Takes responsibility for his / her personal growth and development and continually works to foster skillset development of self and team. Seeks out opportunities for knowledge-sharing with team. Actively mentors other team members in support of growth in skillset. Qualifications
  • Bachelors Information Technology Preferred or
  • High School Diploma General Required
  • Minimum 5 years At least 5 years experience working with Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platform, including the following: Central Administration, managing web applications, site collections, service applications and content databases. Required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an engineering or systems administration role. Preferred
