Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity in the large and growing segment of healthcare and well-being. As a member of the ComPsych Business Applications development team, you will work in a dynamic, collaborative, and friendly work environment. In the role of Business Systems Analyst, you will define the business requirements and reporting solutions needed to resolve business-related problems and to meet strategic organizational goals. In this role you will support efforts to design, implement, and support new and existing data pipelines and data visualizations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytical needs, document requirements, and translate them into clear and concise development units with acceptance criteria.
  • Effectively build relationships and communicate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and management throughout project lifecycle.
  • Performs analyses of current business processes, identifies areas of improvement, and documents business process changes.
  • Creates and maintains high-quality, comprehensive documentation, including procedures, system specifications, technical documentation and training materials, and user manuals in compliance with company policies, standards, and records management best practices.
  • Adhere to data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and security.
  • Performs quality assurance and develops integration and user acceptance test plans; coordinates user acceptance testing efforts with business stakeholders; assists with feature and regression testing of new solutions, as needed.
  • Prepares and conducts end-user training and product demos for business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in and leverage relevant reporting and analytics tools.

Job Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience .
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business systems analysis, with a focus on reporting and analytics solutions, preferably with data pipelines and data visualization, and preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • A work ethic of dependability through punctuality, flexibility, and adaptability to perform as an efficient, detail-oriented team player with a commitment to quality.
  • Strong competency in creating UI wireframes, process flow diagrams, and use case documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience with current systems analysis principles, methods, procedures, practices, tools and techniques, and project management; experience with planning and collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communications skills (both written and verbal), with an ability to translate complex technical concepts into business terms.
  • Ability to prioritize and independently manage multiple requests, and deliver system requirements to meet organizational goals.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, and database querying skills, with a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools.
  • Preferably experienced with cloud-based data warehousing solutions and data integration tools.
