Job summary – What to expect:

As our Category Consultant, you’ll use effective territory planning and relationship building to achieve annual territory sales target and personal performance objectives. As a person, you are characterized by a strong personal drive, high energy level, and a desire to deliver and maximize results, you’ll build trust and are skilled at conveying messages. Additionally, you are responsible, independent and have the courage to think innovative.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales management of all customers within the defined territory providing a principle point of contact for Cooper Vision with the overall objective of achieving long term, year on year sales growth.
  • Day to day management of the territory, designated customers and Cooper Vision’s products and services.
  • To develop and introduce new products on behalf of the Company to maximize the opportunities presented
  • To ensure outstanding knowledge of Cooper Visions products, clinical and technical information, product strategy, market and commercial positioning and brand messages to assist customers in selecting those best suited to their needs.
  • Ability to deliver education, training programmes, and presentations to store staff with a high level of presentation and communications skills. As agreed, to improve knowledge of CooperVision’s products and placement.
  • To organize and execute clinical training in liaison with the Professional Services team to improve clinical knowledge of employees and build brand loyalty.
  • To form close relationships with Regional Managers and representatives within the account structure to provide the platform for commercial, retail training and educational programmes
  • To service the customer base of the company and liaise with local Customer Service to ensure service levels are both maintained and acceptable to the account
  • To represent the Company at seminars, exhibitions and meetings as required to enhance the customer experience when interacting with CooperVision’s team members
  • To attend all sales meetings to ensure understanding of Company direction, action plans and required performance in different areas of work.
  • To complete all reporting and administrative duties as laid down at any time including the upkeep of the designated CRM system and a complete set of customer records for the designated area to ensure all knowledge is shared for the company benefit.


About you:

We are looking for someone who has demonstrable experience of working within a field sales position, achieving outstanding sales results with customers face-to-face.

You’ll be someone who has either worked as an Optician in the past (Optician degree), or someone who has extensive knowledge and experience of the Optical industry as you will be expected to communicate industry information on a regular basis.

You’ll be confident in delivering presentations, speaking to highly technical individuals at all levels and have the ability to adapt to a fast paced environment.

You’ll be an excellent communicator with a consultative selling style and able to work under pressure.

Results focused, resilient, forward thinking and pro-active are all attributes that will contribute to the success of this candidate.

Good fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is required.
