Reporting to the Sales Director, the Flexo Implementation Specislit (FIQ) is responsible for delivering expert training, consulting, and remote support in the field of flexographic printing. Key focus areas include optimizing imaging and exposure equipment for flexo platemaking, print optimization, color management, and other related software such as screening or workflow. In addition, the specialist will troubleshoot technical issues, ensure high customer satisfaction, and support sales efforts by conducting product demos and benchmarks.

This position will be remote within the US, with a preference for candidates located on the Eastern side of the US.

In this role, a typical day will look like: 

  • Support and consult on digital plate-cutting workflows.

  • Provide expert level consulting services related to technological improvement of software, hardware, plates, color and printing presses for Flexo.

  • Provide support to customers and internal staff relating to the platemaking processes, Esko screening and color applications. 

  • Provide support of sales and distributors conducting hardware/software demos and benchmarks at various locations. 

  • Travel up to 75% overnight across the US and occasionally to Canada.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Willingness to travel up to 75% overnight within the U.S., with occasional travel to Canada.

  • At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.

  • Bachelor’s/Masters with emphasis in Graphic Arts, Graphic Communications, or the equivalent in related work experience.

  • Experience with Windows/macOS operating systems and Microsoft Office applications; intermediate-level skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

  • Strong troubleshooting abilities related to printing and software issues, including the ability to perform intermediate-level software installations and network configurations.

The salary range range for this role is $85-100K (base salary), this role is also eligible for an annual incentive based on company and personal performance. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $90,000 - $100,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.
