Reporting to the Head of Sales, North America, this role combines sales leadership with cross-functional collaboration—partnering with Medical Affairs, Patient Services, Market Access, and Marketing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in the Canadian rare disease landscape who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Support access initiatives and collaborate with our Patient Services Partner (PSP) to guide the product journey
  • Represent Alnylam at major congresses and educational events
  • Work cross-functionally with regional and global colleagues to ensure Canada-specific insights inform broader strategy
  • Lead contracted sales resources, with potential for future internal team leadership
  • Monitor KPIs, ensure strategic investment alignment, and contribute to forecasting and market planning
  • Operate in full compliance with company policies and Canadian regulations

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven success in pharmaceutical sales and key account management; sales leadership experience preferred
  • Strong experience in rare and ultra-rare disease markets in Canada
  • Understanding of Canadian public and private reimbursement pathways, especially in rare disease
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences required; Business degree a plus
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
  • Strong analytical, planning, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and travel extensively across Canada
