Position – Production & Budget Coordinator

Contract – one year with possibility to extend

Note- Preferred location is British Columbia, or ability to work pacific time zone hours required

 

Team:

Creative Arts is an internal creative services team within PlayStation Studios. This role is part of the Creative Arts Production & Operations group. The Creative Arts team is structured around four core disciplines: a Creative agency, Music, Sound, and Visual Arts. We provide services that support game development and marketing/PR teams.

 

Position Summary:

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about supporting teams making games? As a Production & Budget Coordinator for the Creative Arts Production and Operations (Pops) team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team with coordination, documentation, planning, and tracking ensuring fiscal accuracy and efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Budget Coordination

  • Support Pops team with data gathering for budget creation and resource planning
  • Enter and maintain project costs and operational information across various tools
  • Raise POs, submit invoices and track costs in project management tools
  • Participate in the creation of monthly reports regarding financials and effort

 

Project Coordination & Communication

  • Schedule meetings for the Pops teams with clear agendas and action items
  • Send communications and maintain production documentation for the team and our partners
  • Collaborate with production staff to monitor project timelines and meet deadlines
  • Anticipate project needs and address potential issues proactively
  • Collaborate with other teams to cultivate an environment for knowledge sharing

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years relevant experience
  • Game development or creative services background
  • Budget management and financial coordination skills
  • Experience with project and resource management tools
  • High confidentiality and discretion
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Detail-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks
  • Creative thinker, passionate about gaming
  • Self-starter, results-oriented
  • Experience across multiple time zones

 

Preference:

  • Monday.com, SmartSheet, SAP skills a plus
  • Worked in a multinational company
  • Familiar with PlayStation products
