About the role:

As a Site Reliability Engineer at Fathom, you'll be at the core of scaling and automating our infrastructure. This role blends infrastructure engineering with internal tooling to streamline every step of the customer experience. You’ll enhance observability, diversify our platform across regions, and drive automation to reduce operational friction.
You’ll have a direct impact on platform reliability, scalability, and innovation - working closely with engineering to redefine what "seamless" means at scale.

In this role you’ll be:

Scale and optimize existing observability and infrastructure tools as the platform grows.
Automate infrastructure scaling and improve the development experience.
Expand the platform across additional regions to support multi-regional deployment.
Evaluate and upgrade real-time data pipelines for enhanced scalability and performance.
Provide platform support to engineering teams through data-driven decision-making.
Continuously improve platform reliability, efficiency, and resilience.
Redefine and drive improvements in observability across the Fathom platform.
Design and implement enhancements to the elastic, multi-regional storage infrastructure.
Proactively identify and eliminate friction in developer workflows.
Collaborate closely with engineering and leadership to shape infrastructure strategy and best practices

About you:

5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or SRE (10+ years preferred for senior-level candidates).
Proven experience scaling SaaS products at Series A/B stage companies.
Strong background in building scalable, multi-regional infrastructure.
Experience with Kubernetes, GCP, AWS, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, and ArgoCD.
Comfortable driving platform automation, improving observability, and enhancing system reliability.
Passion for data-driven decision-making and reducing developer friction.

Salary range: $190k – $240k (flexible) + competitive equity.
