What Your Experience Will Be:
As a Billing Operations Specialist (Level 3) at Slang.ai, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end billing cycle. You will work cross-functionally with Finance, Revenue Operations, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, payments, and revenue recognition. In this role, you will manage billing operations through Stripe, investigate and resolve invoicing discrepancies, and contribute to the improvement of billing-related processes and systems. You will play a key role in maintaining data accuracy, ensuring compliance, and delivering a smooth and professional billing experience to our customers.
You will generate and issue invoices, validate and reconcile billing data, and respond to internal and external billing inquiries. You will also support financial audits, month-end close procedures, and documentation of billing workflows. This position reports to the Head of Finance, an experienced financial leader focused on building scalable, efficient financial systems. You will work with tools including Stripe, HubSpot, QuickBooks, and other internal systems to manage billing workflows and reporting.
