Job description

This is a remote position.

Are you a detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and a passion for customer service? We’re looking for a Property Management Assistant to support our team in delivering a seamless experience for both tenants and property owners.

If you’re comfortable using tools like LeadSimple and Propertyware, have a proactive attitude, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment — we’d love to hear from you!


Job Highlights:
  • Contract type: Independent Contractor
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Calgary, AB Time with an hour unpaid break

Scope

  • Handle all aspects of tenant and property owner communication
  • Manage the entire application review process for potential tenants
  • Coordinate with condo management for move-ins, move-outs, and other tenant-related issues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in property management software
  • Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the property management team

Responsibilities

  • Review and process rental applications using established checklists and criteria
  • Manage communication with tenants and property owners via email, phone, and text
  • Schedule and coordinate move-ins and move-outs, including elevator bookings with condo management
  • Set up and maintain tenant information in property management software
  • Use LeadSimple task management software to track and complete daily tasks
  • Assist with various administrative duties related to property management

Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in using email, phone systems, and business texting platforms
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems
  • Proficiency in LeadSimple and Propertyware
  • Customer service-oriented mindset
