Are you a highly organized, solutions-driven professional with experience in field service dispatching? We’re looking for a Field Service Dispatcher to join our team and take full ownership of scheduling, technician coordination, and real-time job oversight.


In this role, you'll be the heartbeat of our daily operations—dispatching jobs via Zoho FSM, monitoring technician performance, ensuring job quality, and supporting both internal teams and third-party contractors. From time tracking and checklist compliance to live issue resolution, you’ll play a vital role in keeping everything on track, on time, and up to standard.

Job Highlights:
  • Contract type: Independent Contractor
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Pacific Time)

Key Responsibilities:
Daily Scheduling & Job Dispatching
  • Assign jobs to internal teams or contractors using Zoho FSM
  • Ensure all technicians are dispatched according to the daily/weekly service plan
  • Monitor technician availability and shift coverage across all zones

Time Tracking & Job Progress Control
  • Monitor that technicians start and stop each job properly in Zoho FSM
  • Ensure teams follow service duration expectations and timing standards
  • Track live status of each job and follow up if something is delayed or missed

Quality Control & Checklist Compliance
  • Make sure all technicians complete FSM checklists, upload photos, and log job notes
  • Flag missing data or incomplete jobs for immediate correction
  • Ensure all service jobs meet operational quality standards before being marked as complete

Field Team Support & Real-Time Communication
  • Communicate with field teams via Zoho Cliq for updates or escalations
  • Guide technicians if issues arise on-site (access, scope confusion, customer changes)
  • Coordinate rescheduling or backup coverage when needed

Contractor & Internal Team Coordination
  • Work equally with internal staff and third-party contractors
  • Ensure all assigned work — regardless of team type — is executed according to standards
  • Confirm that all teams follow the same scheduling, documentation, and closure protocols

Documentation & Data Accuracy
  • Track and document every job’s performance and status using Zoho FSM
  • Organize job records, photos, and forms in Zoho WorkDrive
  • Keep dispatch logs clean, categorized, and ready for review by Operations or QA teams

Tools Used:
  • Zoho FSM – core platform for all job tracking and dispatch
  • Zoho Cliq – real-time communication with field teams
  • Zoho WorkDrive – central storage for job documentation
  • Zoho Desk – if internal ticket escalations or customer-facing hand-offs are required (optional)


Requirements
  • 2+ years of Dispatcher experience
  • Proven experience in dispatch operations (field services, maintenance, cleaning, or logistics)
  • Strong familiarity with job routing, team assignment, and technician monitoring
  • Confidence in managing teams remotely and solving issues quickly
  • Strong attention to detail and process discipline

Bonus (Not Required, But Awesome):
  • Prior experience using Zoho FSM or similar platforms (ServiceTitan, Jobber, Housecall Pro)
  • Understanding of time-based service contracts, subscription models, or field SLAs
  • Bilingual or multilingual communication ability (a plus for dealing with diverse field staff).
