The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Sr. Manager of Digital Advertising to lead our digital advertising efforts and team as we scale our business. This role will shape advertising strategies and oversee their execution to achieve optimal performance for the brands we represent on Amazon and other marketplaces. As a key leader, you will manage a team, drive collaboration across departments, and act as a strategic partner to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Oversight: Develop and implement advanced digital advertising strategies to align with Neato’s and brand partners’ goals.
  • Campaign Excellence: Oversee the planning, execution, and continuous optimization of paid advertising campaigns across platforms like Amazon and Google for key accounts.
  • Performance Analytics: Lead the analysis of advertising performance metrics, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement in key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ROAS, ACoS, and CPC.
  • Innovation & Testing: Identify opportunities for campaign testing and scaling, incorporating emerging advertising trends and platform features.
  • Client Engagement: Act as the primary strategic advisor for clients, delivering impactful insights, recommendations, and performance reviews.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Brand Management, Merchandising, SEO/Content, and other teams to drive unified strategies.
  • Team Development: Lead and develop a team of two direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture and providing coaching for career growth.
  • Budget Leadership: Manage advertising budgets at scale, ensuring efficient allocation across client portfolios to maximize ROI.
  • Process Improvement: Drive process innovation, ensuring tools, reports, and workflows are optimized for team efficiency.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience: 6+ years in digital advertising, with a focus on e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Google, and at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated success in managing, mentoring, and scaling high-performing teams.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Strong analytical capabilities, with experience managing and optimizing significant advertising budgets.
  • Client-Centric Approach: Exceptional communication and client relationship skills.
  • E-Commerce Knowledge: Expertise in retail/eCommerce, particularly in marketplace dynamics.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with digital advertising tools, analytics platforms, and automation technologies.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  1. Cost-Per-Click (CPC) Reduction: Achieve a measurable decrease in average CPC for each brand by implementing data-driven optimizations and keyword strategies.
  2. Keyword Performance Improvement: Improve the rank of the top 5 performing keywords for the top 10 ASINs per brand, driving greater visibility and competitiveness.
  3. Click-Through Rate (CTR) Growth: Increase the average CTR per brand through effective ad copy, audience targeting, and creative adjustments.
  4. Cost-Per-Acquisition (CPA) Reduction: Drive a consistent reduction in CPA across campaigns while maintaining or improving sales volume.
  5. Paid Conversion Rate Increase: Boost paid conversion rates per brand by refining targeting, bidding, and campaign structure.
