What does a Learning Content Inspector really do? Think of yourself as someone who plays a key role in shaping exceptional learning experiences—ensuring every piece of training content is clear, accurate, and engaging. You’ll write, review, and refine learning materials across a variety of formats and partner with designers, developers, and subject matter experts to bring these to life.
Your mission: to ensure every learning touchpoint helps our teammates and clients thrive.
As a Learning Content Inspector, you will:
- Develop instructional content such as facilitator guides, job aids, scripts, assessments, and microlearning.
- Translate technical or operational information from subject matter experts into engaging, learner-friendly materials.
- Review content drafts (e.g., storyboards, documents, web copy) to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to our editorial standards.
- Proofread materials and ensure alignment with our team’s style guide and editorial best practices.
- Evaluate published learning content for clarity, accuracy, and usability.
- Collaborate with Learning Experience Designers, eLearning developers, and project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of quality content.
- Support ongoing projects by maintaining trackers, participating in calibration and review sessions, and helping improve our processes.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying quality gaps and leading initiatives to refine team output.
Do you have what it takes to be a Learning Content Inspector?
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Technical Writing, Communication Arts, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in instructional writing, editing, or content development—preferably in training, education, or eLearning.
- Exceptional command of written English, with strong editing and proofreading skills.
- Familiarity with editorial standards (Chicago Manual of Style, Microsoft Manual of Style).
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen sense for quality.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable collaborating across functions and working with creative and technical teams.
Nice to have:
- Certifications in editing, writing, or instructional design.
- Experience in eLearning, web content creation, or multimedia storytelling.
- Familiarity with authoring tools, project management platforms, or design systems.
