If you’re driving on a highway in North America, there’s a good chance Infotech software helped build it. In the U.S., 88% of state transportation agencies use Infotech-developed software to manage road construction. From digital bidding to secure document signing, from cost estimation to inspection, we build tools that streamline infrastructure project delivery and ensure transparency, quality, and compliance.

We’re proud to be a Certified™ Great Place to Work®, with a people-first culture, outstanding employee retention, and flexible work-life support. Headquartered in Gainesville, Florida, Infotech is a pioneer in civil construction software and a vibrant community of technologists, collaborators, and problem solvers.

What you’ll do

As a Senior GIS Business Specialist, you’ll drive the integration and quality of geospatial data across our product ecosystem—bringing ArcGIS-powered maps to life within Infotech’s Bidding and Construction solutions. How you’ll do it

  • Lead the acquisition and transformation of diverse GIS datasets (e.g., shapefiles, feature layers, GeoJSON) from local and state sources to establish a robust spatial data foundation.
  • Validate and optimize map layers for performance and usability, enhancing end-user experiences across platforms.
  • Align ArcGIS schema with Infotech’s data models to enable seamless integration and product-level interoperability.
  • Create and manage metadata to support spatial governance, discoverability, and internal documentation standards.
  • Design and QA interactive map prototypes using tools like ArcGIS Online and the ArcGIS Web SDK, supporting agency and contractor-facing use cases.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to support agency onboarding, pilot implementations, and the testing of GIS-enabled features.
  • Document GIS workflows and configuration patterns to enable repeatable deployment and scalability across agencies.
  • Contribute to spatial analysis tasks to support construction lifecycle insights and influence product innovation.
