Job Summary/Description:

Gray Media is looking for an experienced Video Editor/Producer to join the Gray Creative Group. This role will consist of editing video projects to run on variety of platforms for group-wide marketing initiatives and station support. This position requires a self-motivated individual with the ability to produce high-quality videos. Candidate should have strong editing, graphics and post-production skills and the ability to effectively communicate project processes and feedback with the team. This is a remote position.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but not limited to)

• Involved in multiple phases of production including creative development, storyboarding, editing, post-production, and finishing/delivery.
• Generate on-brand ideas that are within project scope.
• Quickly and effectively conceptualize and create high-end video content for a variety of media and campaign platforms including broadcast, digital and social channels.
• Deliver video projects on schedule.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems quickly and independently.

Qualifications/Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience in this role or similar role
    • Expert visual storyteller with strong skills in writing, cinematography and Adobe Creative Cloud editing and graphics programs.
    • Highly creative with ability to write, edit and produce for various broadcast, digital, and social platforms.
    • Understanding of the latest professional post-production tools, video formats, codecs, media settings, edit workflows, color profiles, and delivery specs.
    • Learning-oriented self-starter who can manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain exceptional attention to detail while working independently.
    • Degree in Broadcast and Film Production or equivalent
    • Proven experience in editing/post-production is required, please provide a link to past work in your resume.
