The School of Environment and Natural Resources is seeking a dedicated Research Technician 4 to join our team. This role focuses on environmental social science research, specifically at the intersection of behavioral science and agricultural conservation. The successful candidate will design research, collect data, conduct data analysis, write journal articles, and translate science for stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and lead new research projects, including experimental and survey-based studies.
  • Design and implement systematic literature reviews.
  • Conduct detailed data analysis on multiple quantitative data sets, including multivariate procedures and spatial analyses.
  • Present and package scientific findings for multiple stakeholder audiences through diverse channels (e.g., peer-reviewed articles, web, reports, briefs).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in relevant field research.
  • Strong background in environmental social science, behavioral science, and agricultural conservation.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software and techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Desired Qualification and Experience:

Master of Science (PhD preferred) and significant research experience conducting independent research (at least 5 years)

The salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
