About the Role

SBT is looking for an SDR, Manager to join our dynamic Sales team. This pivotal role supports our New Business Development team, by spearheading our outbound marketing initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our expanding SDR team in addition to outsourced lead generation resources. You will also be responsible for refining our outreach strategies and enhance our presence across various industry segments.

 

Position Objectives

In this role, you will: 

  • Lead and manage a team of up to eight SDRs, ensuring a culture of collaboration, motivation, and high performance.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development to SDRs to enhance their skills and achieve sales targets.
  • Oversee the performance of outsourced SDRs provided by external agencies.
  • Evaluate joint success efforts and ensure seamless integration between internal and external teams.
  • Implement robust performance management practices to track and improve team effectiveness.
  • Manage recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes for SDRs, while partnering closely with Finance and Human Resources to ensure new hires meet role-specific requirements and skill matches.
  • Ensure Salesforce CRM (SFDC) data quality and compliance to optimize sales processes.
  • Leverage experience in collections, consumer finance, banking, and auto finance to identify opportunities in semi-complex B2B markets.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams to execute campaigns and suggest improvements based on SDR feedback and market insights.
  • Align marketing efforts with SDR outreach strategies to maximize engagement and conversions.
  • Work alongside the New Business Development (NBD) Manager to strategize and streamline processes.
  • Act as a liaison between sales, marketing, finance, human resources, and operations teams to ensure consistency and alignment.

 

Competencies and Experience
  • 2-5 Years of previous experience in leading an SDR team in outbound sales motions.
  • Proven experience managing SDR teams in B2B markets, preferably in semi-complex industries.
  • Familiarity with collections, consumer finance, banking, and/or auto finance is highly desirable.
  • Experience managing outsourced resources and driving joint success initiatives.
  • Skilled in leveraging technology to support SDR efforts, including CRM platforms like Salesforce.
  • Strong coaching and team-building skills to develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and refine processes for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to align cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to suggest improvements to marketing campaigns.
