We’re seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting our month-end close process, maintaining accurate financial records, and contributing to the overall success of our accounting operations. What You’ll Do:
  • Participate in monthly close activities, including preparing journal entries and conducting general ledger analysis. 
  • Shadow and progressively take ownership of assigned month-end close responsibilities. 
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner. 
  • Support balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure financial data integrity. 
  • Assist in reviewing and validating commission calculations in partnership with Sales Operations and HR. 
  • Track and manage fixed assets, including additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules. 
  • Serve as a backup for Accounts Payable, processing vendor invoices and payments when needed. 
  • Manage credit card spend by entering related invoices and maintaining the credit card platform. 

  • What You’ll Deliver:
  • Accurate and timely financial reports that contribute to data-driven decision-making. 
  • Reliable reconciliations and detailed analysis that help ensure the integrity of our financial records. 
  • Seamless support for internal teams, including Sales Ops and HR, to ensure accurate commission and asset tracking. 
  • Continuous improvement to processes and procedures, identifying efficiencies and opportunities for automation or enhancement. 

  • You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. 
  • Have 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably within IT or professional services. 
  • Possess a strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles. 
  • Are highly detail-oriented, organized, and analytical. 
  • Communicate effectively and enjoy working cross-functionally. 
  • Have experience working independently in a remote work setting and can manage time effectively. 

  • Bonus Points:
  • Experience with NetSuite (strongly preferred), QuickBooks, or Sage. 
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. 
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and a desire to learn and grow in your accounting career.

    Salary: $55,000 - $75,000
