Status: Permanent Full Time

Location: Remote

 

Reporting to the National Director, Vocational Services, Lifemark is looking for a Manager, Vocational Services. Responsible to the overall change management and business strategy. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our vocational and employment services within our organization. The individual will possess a strong background in business, leading a team, finance and project management and strategic planning. The successful candidate will ideally have experience in vocational rehabilitation and employment services serving various government, insurers, wcb’s and private agencies. 

 

Core Responsibilities:

 

  • Prepare and monitor operational budgets for new and existing business units
  • Project manage initiatives to ensure successful outcomes
  • Oversee collection and conduct analytics of data to monitor performance and financial outcomes using standardized tools for reporting
  • Ensure proposal submission packages follow guidelines and contain all required documentation and information
  • Develop strategic objectives and actions that align with the vision of the organization
  • Manage CRM systems and develop customized reports for management teams
  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans for the execution and implementation of new programs
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to provide insights that inform Lifemark's approach to business development

 

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field 
  • Experience and understanding of the Vocational Rehabilitation industry is a strong asset
  • 3-5 years of experience leading teams of professionals 
  • Proven track record of identifying and securing business opportunities within Vocational Rehabilitation or employment services (including government and private opportunities)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, bilingual an asset
  • Ability to work independently and to lead a cross-functional team, proven leadership experience 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret relevant market data
  • Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite of programs
  • Must be self-starter, be able to adapt to flexible work schedule, strong interpersonal skills
  • Time management, attention to detail, planning, and coordination skills
