Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Title: Business Development Manager - Channel & Partner Development

Location: Remote (with 25% Travel Required)

Reports To: VP of Sales


We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to focus on partner development and integrity across our multi-tier channel, including ProAV, VARs, and End Users. This role requires a customer-centric, data-driven individual who is agile, self-starting, and focused on delivering optimal business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, an eye for quality, and the ability to translate technical capabilities into differentiated outcomes that drive customer benefits.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Expand and develop North American IT VARs, Systems Integrators, and AV Integrators through standard business development activities, partner training, partner programs, and sales campaigns.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing partners to help drive product adoption and increase solution sales.
  • Work closely with the company’s Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to align on sales strategy and ensure consistent communication with channel accounts.
  • Track and manage all sales activities through CRM, including prospect management, deal registration, and pipeline management.
  • Achieve quarterly sales quotas, goals, and manager objectives.
  • Travel up to 25% of the year for trade shows, client engagements, and team-building events.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of business development experience in the IT channel, preferably with hardware or manufactured goods.
  • 3+ years of experience in ProAV, workspace mounting, or commercial furniture is a plus.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Hubspot or Salesforce).
  • Strong active listening skills and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with a strategic and outside-the-box thinking approach.
  • Ability to be an individual contributor while supporting team goals.
  • Strong phone presence with experience in handling a high volume of calls daily.
  • Proficient in Office 365.


Working Conditions:

  • This position requires some travel for trade shows, client meetings, and team-building events. All travel expenses will be covered by the employer, and travel should be scheduled during off-peak business hours whenever possible.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures and create an environment of positivity and accountability.
  • Ability to set up and maintain a functional home office workspace.
