Job description

This is a remote position.

We’re looking for a creative and highly organized Social Media Coordinator to manage our Reddit strategy and amplify our online presence. As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating the daily publishing of posts across multiple Reddit accounts, ensuring posts go viral and generate significant engagement.

Job Highlights:

Contract type: Independent Contractor
Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM AU time with 1 hour unpaid lunch break (Flexible after training)

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate the daily publishing of Reddit posts using a pool of third-party Reddit account holders.
Maintain discretion by ensuring no account is overused or obviously affiliated with our brands.
Pay Reddit account holders promptly via PayPal ($4.50 per post).
Come up with original, viral-worthy Reddit post ideas (when needed).
Outsource post creation to Fiverr editors when necessary (video/image content).
Buy up-votes strategically using BuyUpvotes.io to promote post visibility (within 60 seconds of posting).
Track post performance, engagement, and community feedback in real-time.
Monitor for negative attention and moderate accordingly.
Use spreadsheets/CRMs to track accounts, payments, tasks, post statuses, and KPIs.
Communicate with Reddit account holders (template messages provided).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Minimum of 14 Reddit posts per week.
Quality and virality of posts (measured by up-votes, comments, and community engagement).
Discretion and distribution of posts across different Reddit accounts.
Timeliness of post coordination and up-vote purchases.

Requirements

Experience with Reddit and other social media platforms (especially TikTok).
Strong understanding of viral content and meme culture.
Familiarity with different subreddit vibes and content styles.
Must be exceptionally organized and detail-oriented.
Ability to manage high-volume tasks using spreadsheets or project management tools.
Comfortable outsourcing content creation (e.g., via Fiverr).
Excellent communication skills, especially via WhatsApp.
Capable of quick decision-making (especially with up-vote timing).
A good sense of humor, trend awareness, and creative instinct are critical.
Bonus: addicted to TikTok, online culture, or have a background in social virality.
