Project Manager

This is a remote position.

Project Description:

Responsible for the coordination and completion of strategic IT projects related to e Health modernization within the Consumer e Health unit which is primarily responsible for implementation of Albertan facing services including the My Health Records program. Oversees all aspects of project management including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and reporting on project progress. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, other departments including Provincial Health Agencies and external stakeholders involved in projects. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.

Must Have

Education

Bachelor degree, diploma or certificate in IT, Computer Science or related field of study.

Work Experience

·       Experience developing project deliverables including project charters, business cases – 5 years.

·       Experience successfully implementing IT solutions in an environment with project – 5 years.

Nice to Have

Professional Licenses/Certification

Currently active PMP or PGMP Certification as issued by the Project Management

Work Experience

·       Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation or support of solutions -3 years.

·       Duration - Demonstrated experience working in the health industry and knowledge – 3 years.

·       Experience developing and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships across the – 3 years.

·       Experience developing change management deliverables including Change Strategy – 3 years.
