Job description

Position Overview:
The Ad Tech Supervisor will play a pivotal role in supporting the Ad Ops and Tagging teams. This individual will combine strong project management skills, a deep understanding of ad tech operations, and team leadership to ensure seamless execution. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in ad trafficking, the ability to path process for new technology, tagging strategy, and dynamic creative strategies, while also fostering a proactive, solutions-driven approach to the work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and enforce quality assurance processes for ad operations to minimize errors and discrepancies.
  • Conducted audits and implemented checks to ensure campaign accuracy, including trafficking, targeting, and creative delivery.
  • Maintain and upkeep of Ad Ops and Tagging documentation as technology requirements evolve.
  • Manage tagging project status and prioritization of client requests.
  • Work cross-functionally with business leads, media teams, and tagging teams to ensure accurate tag deployment and data collection.
  • Provide consultation on best practices for tag management systems (e.g., GTM, Tealium) and server-side tagging solutions.
  • Establish timelines and project plans to ensure timely delivery of tagging requirements.
  • Collaborate with creative, media, and tech teams to ensure proper DCO setup and alignment with KPIs.
  • Lead team resourcing, workload management, and project prioritization.
  • Partner with senior leadership to identify areas of opportunity for automation and AI tool
    implementation.
  • Support the design and build of new automation tools.

Role Requirements:

  • Must have a combined 5+ years of experience in ad tech, including ad ops and tagging project management, as well as 2+ years of experience managing or mentoring a team.
  • Proficiency in ad servers (e.g., CM360, Ad Manager), tag management platforms (e.g., Google Tag Manager, Tealium), and building automation or QA tools.
  • An understanding of DCO tools, platforms, and processes (e.g., Flashtalking, Google Studio, Clinch or equivalent).
  • Working knowledge of tracking technologies, pixels, and data layer implementations.

Additional Skills:

  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
