Job description

Our core service offering generates hundreds of millions of dollars for ServiceTitan and is central to the operation of thousands of businesses.  ServiceTitan is looking for an extraordinary Senior Manager of product Analytics to develop insightful and in depth reporting and take our understanding of our core product to the next level. We need to understand what parts of our product are making our customers successful and what parts need more work.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage a team of 7, including one people manager, of product analysts

  • As a leader, you will work with VP level stakeholders to set roadmaps for the Core product analytics team

  • As a manager/doer, you will own key analyses on our most complicated problems 

  • Creatively answer questions nobody is asking but that help us improve how we run our business

  • Create KPIs that measure the health of our core product and its impact on our customers

  • Assist the sales and marketing teams in creating product impact claims for major deals

  • Mentor and grow your teammates to deliver strong products across the business

  • QA results from your team and partner teams to ensure high quality results have been delivered 

  • Work with our data engineering team to help create data marts that allow for self service and accelerate our speed to value over time 

  • Produce Tableau dashboards that are key resources for our partner teams 


Required Skills:

  • Must have experience leading product analytics teams,

  • Comfortable with tight deadlines in a high-growth environment; Ability to prioritize projects based on ROI and timing in the presence of ambiguity 

  • Bachelor degree in a business or quantitative field

  • 8+ years of experience as a business analyst (SQL/Tableau) 

  • 4+ years managing a team of at least 5+ people 

  • Tableau and/or powerBI (Tableau strongly preferred)

  • SQL expertise and previous experience with data warehouses (Snowflake preferred)

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information with great attention to detail 

  • Ability to creatively start new projects; viewed as both indistinguishable and indispensable from the business teams you partner with

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills that allow you to directly communicate with VP+ product managers/engineering leadership

  • Experience using clickstream data to make key product decisions

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with FullStory

  • Experience in dbt (data engineering)

  • Experience in python (data manipulation)

ServiceTitan is committed to fair and equitable compensation for all of our employees. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation. The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in the United States is between $183,400 USD - $245,400 USD. Compensation for candidates residing outside the United States will vary by location and the specific salary range will be discussed during the hiring process. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
