Senior Manager, Communications (Remote)

We are seeking a talented and strategic Senior Manager, Communications to work closely with the Executive Director, Strategic & Enterprise Communications, to develop, execute and manage compelling internal communication campaigns and programs that drive employee engagement, reinforce our organizational strategy and support enterprise programs and change initiatives.

This individual contributor will be responsible for partnering with key stakeholders across HR and other Centers of Excellence to create engaging, creative content, utilizing a variety of communication tools and channels. In addition, this communicator will help shape the executive communications strategy (internally and externally) for key leaders. The Senior Manager will serve as a trusted communications consultant to senior leadership and work closely with the broader Communications team to develop and execute comprehensive communications plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Internal Communications Strategy: Work with the Sr. Director of Communications to develop and implement internal communications strategies that support key enterprise business objectives, drive employee engagement and support company-wide initiatives.
• Executive Communications: Partner with senior leadership to craft compelling messages for internal and external audiences.
• Employee Engagement Campaigns: Develop and execute communications programs designed to enhance engagement and reinforce the company’s mission, strategy and culture.
• Change Management Communications: Support change management initiatives by creating clear and concise messaging to help employees navigate organizational change, ensuring transparency and understanding.
• Collaboration & Consultation: Partner closely with assigned internal stakeholder groups to provide communications counsel and support.
• Content Development: Produce a range of content, including written communications, video scripts, newsletters, intranet articles, and presentations. Ensure all materials align with company tone and brand guidelines working closing with Brand team.
• Tools & Channel Development: Help to drive the development of communication tools and channels, ensuring they are effective, accessible and aligned with employee needs including both office-based and front-line roles.
• Metrics & Reporting: Measure the effectiveness of internal communications campaigns and programs, using data and feedback to optimize strategies and improve engagement.

Requirements:

• 10-15 years of progressive communications experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or related field.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Strong background in the healthcare industry is highly preferred
• Experience working for a publicly-traded company
• Remote work location
• Based in RTP or anywhere in the EST/CST time zones is strongly preferred

• Expertise in media, public relations, crisis communications, employee engagement and communications.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work effectively with executives and stakeholders at all levels. 
• Demonstrated track-record of managing competing priorities effectively and strong ability to think strategically and align communications efforts with broader organizational goals and business priorities.
• Expertise in internal communications channel management and measurement; experience reaching front-line employees and expert in digital communication tools and platforms.

Pay Range: $120,000-$150,000 base salary + annual bonus

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. 

The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan.  Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers.
