About the Position: An ideal candidate for the SVP of Leave Management Solutions position will have a strong understanding of leave management compliance, vendor solutions, and best practices as well as a proven track record of helping lead a leave management practice for scale that aligns with company and divisional objectives. Working in tandem with divisional Marketing and Client Service, this individual will help manage a team responsible for all Leave Management vendor RFPs. In addition, this role is responsible for all ongoing account management and sold case implementation services specific to leave administration. Effective communication, collaboration, and organization are critical for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a subject matter expert for leave management as well as leave management solutions team operations, both internally and externally.

  • Provides functional area expertise and relationship growth management with applicable leave solution partners

  • Monthly white papers and compliance updates for both internal and external partnerships. Collaboration with corporate SPG and HUB marketing for partners on a national and regional level

  • Ability to lead, implement and foster execution of business objectives, both on a corporate and divisional level

  • Coaches and mentor’s individuals on team and empowers and enables their career development.

  • Builds relationships with internal colleagues as well as external broker, vendor, TPA, & carrier partners.

  • Ensures team adherence to best practices, processes, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs.)

  • Drives scalability and integration across cross-functional teams and ensures alignment to overall business goals and other key performance indicators (KPIs.)

  • Supports and helps leads leave management capacity modeling in collaboration with business operations and leadership to ensure appropriate staffing.

  • Owns strategy and manages execution of continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Manages key broker, vendor, TPA, and carrier relationships as needed, including day-to-day inquiries related to leave administration and compliance, vendor RFPs, and implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 2+ years’ experience leading a leave management practice with a demonstrated ability to lead a team with integrity, authenticity, and empathy

  • 5+ years in leave management solutions role within carrier, vendor, or TPA organization

  • Proven track record with scaling a leave management operation to enable P&L growth

  • Deep understanding of leave administration compliance, leave management vendors/TPAs, integrated carrier offerings, and state-mandated disability compliance

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and comfortable with organizational change and balancing competing priorities

  • Resilient and adaptable, maintaining a positive attitude and serving as a trusted mentor for team

  • Decisive and comfortable with autonomy

  • Effective communicator with proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally

Work Location: This is a 100% remote position working in your local time zone. Access to a local office may be available upon request.

Salary Transparency: The expected base earnings range for this position is $170,000-$220,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
