The Lead Billing Specialist oversees the design and implementation of efficient billing procedures and processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This role manages monthly invoicing including generating invoices, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies. Additionally, the Lead Billing Specialist maintains accurate records, delivers exceptional customer service to internal and external clients, and collaborates with Accounting teams and Account Managers to ensure proper financial transaction recording and prompt issue resolution. Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), this role also supports the training and development of future Billing Specialists. This position is critical to maintaining the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
Invoice Administration – 50%
Process Improvement & Reporting – 25%
SME and Informal Mentor to Billing Specialists - 15%
Accounts Receivables – 10%
