What you’ll do 

As a Senior Salesforce DevOps Engineer, you’ll bridge the gap between Development and Operational teams. You will be responsible for setting up and managing the environments, tooling, and architecture for the operation of project development and test environments, as well as the software configuration management processes for the entire application development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform Environment Provisioning as part of the project delivery life cycle
  • Coordinate with various teams (development, testing) to support the project
  • Set up CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce Deployments and run the CI/CD tooling platform
  • Support development streams with code management and deployment execution
  • Define and govern CI/CD processes for the project (branching, developer tools onboarding, best practices, etc).
  • Provide SME for matters relating to Salesforce DevOps
  • Adopt an automation mindset first
  • Maintain configuration across environments and ensure that all configuration changes are done via code and not manually implemented
  • Be responsible for the end to project delivery of new domains lifecycle in a dynamic, agile environment including project mobilisation, process design, system configuration & customisation, testing, integration, data migration, deployment and business adoption activities.

Here’s what you need

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in DevOps tooling design, implementation and architecture
  • Proficiency in DevOps principles and CI/CD concepts with exposure to tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of Git, Branching, and Trunk Based Development, Agile Principles, Pull Requests/Merge Conflict Resolutions
  • Experience with environment and configuration management
  • Adept with scripting languages such as Bash/Javascript
  • Strong problem-solving and incident management skills

Bonus points if with

  • Exposure to Salesforce or willingness to learn the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Experience in Agile way of working
