We are seeking a Sponsorships Manager to join the Foundation in its mission of benefitting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges—the largest and most diverse system of higher education in the nation. The Foundation for California Community Colleges is on a mission to double its impact in the next 10 years. We are a group of relentless optimists and innovators in education, working collaboratively with public and private partners to help improve the student experience and expand pathways to economic and social mobility in communities across California.
What You’ll Do
This position's primary role is to develop and execute sponsorships and similar partnerships with corporations and other businesses seeking to provide philanthropic support for events and programs, and steward relationships with these business partners. This new position will bring both experience and creativity to the design, implementation and management of sponsorship campaigns while stewarding relationships with sponsors and discovering new corporate and business supporters. The manager will partner closely with the Conferences and Events team and the Marketing and Communications team on planning, promoting, and delivering high quality sponsored events.
The position will also coordinate with other FoundationCCC programs and departments that have corporate and business relationships: Among the many ways FoundationCCC partners with corporations to achieve its mission and support California Community Colleges are: statewide procurement services; employer support for internships, apprenticeships, and jobs for students; grants to support students and the programs that benefit them; collaborative fundraising campaigns, including matching employee gifts; and sponsorship of high profile statewide conferences and events.
