Essential Functions
Responsibility for FHN business of the geographic sub-region, including opening territories and lead follow-up.
Oversee the sales efforts directly and through Sales Intermediaries for the assigned geographic region including direct sales to designated house accounts and territories which are uncovered by a manufacturer’s representative.
Work with the Commercial Director APAC to create a strategy based on business trends, strengths, weaknesses and happenings in the assigned region.
Leverage CRM / BI platforms to assess a region’s potential and performance and manage customer data.
Identify opportunities to bring in specific executive or technical expertise to close sales.
Maximize sales achievement through account relationship management.
Act as Account Manager for specific customers based on the overall FHN Business Development Strategy.
Propose, help train a group of Sales Intermediaries through the creation of constructive relationships.
Analyze skills gaps and organize training to Sales Intermediaries in assigned area.
Manage the sales commission process within the assigned area and strategize with the Commercial Director APAC on pricing and commission strategy.
Manage applicable Sales Engineering staff to coordinate the quotation and processing of orders and maintain orderly and complete quote records.
Travel to support specific sales opportunities in the region to assure the highest possible close rate.
Support FHN Project Management through the course of each project.
Support the strategies and tactics developed by Business Development / Marketing for the promotion of FHN Business as well as corporate efforts such as trade shows, associations, etc.
Gain product, process, industry and territorial knowledge through continuing education and experience.
Actively pursue membership in professional societies and industry or trade organizations.
Education / Expertise
Bachelor’s Degree in any scientific or business-related function.
Required minimum industrial or manufacturing sales experience of 7-10 years demonstrating progressive responsibility and achievements.
Successful track record of at least 3 years of leading an outside sales team in a business-to-business sales environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required and sales forecasting tools and CRM / CPQ / BI solutions are highly desired.
Expert level written and interpersonal communication skills.
Fluent in English language.
Ability to handle a multitude of tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality.
Ability for extended travel and time away from home to actively manage customer relationships.
