We are seeking a results-driven Ads Manager to oversee and optimise our Meta advertising efforts across multiple client accounts, with the potential to expand into platforms such as Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and other paid media channels. This role is responsible for managing daily ad operations, tracking campaign performance, and ensuring efficient and strategic use of ad spend across three core ad accounts and twelve Facebook pages.
You will play a vital role in our overall paid media strategy—driving consistent, scalable growth primarily through Facebook and Instagram advertising, while also having the opportunity to contribute to cross-platform advertising initiatives.
Key Requirements in Meta Advertising (Facebook & Instagram)
1. Meta Business Suite & Ads Manager Proficiency
Deep understanding of how to set up and manage campaigns using Meta Ads Manager.
Experience using Meta Business Suite for managing pages, inbox, and scheduling posts.
2. Campaign Structure Knowledge
Know how to set up the full hierarchy: Campaign > Ad Set > Ad.
Familiar with campaign objectives (e.g., conversions, traffic, lead generation, engagement).
3. Audience Targeting & Segmentation
Ability to create and manage:
Custom Audiences (e.g., website visitors, email lists, video viewers).
Lookalike Audiences.
Interest-based and behavioral targeting.
Know how to segment based on funnel stages (cold, warm, hot).
4. Facebook Pixel & Conversion API
Setting up and managing the Facebook Pixel.
Tracking events (standard/custom), ensuring proper setup via Pixel or Conversion API.
Understanding event deduplication and the impact of iOS14+ privacy changes.
5. Ad Creative Strategy
Understanding the anatomy of high-converting creatives:
Scroll-stopping visuals.
Clear CTAs.
UGC-style content, testimonials, or native-style ads.
Ability to brief designers or lightly edit creatives in Canva or similar tools.
6. Budgeting & Bidding
Allocate budget across multiple campaigns/ad sets.
Understand CBO (Campaign Budget Optimization) vs. ABO (Ad Set Budget Optimization).
Familiar with bidding strategies: lowest cost, cost cap, etc.
7. Testing & Optimisation
Competent in running A/B tests for:
Creatives.
Copy.
Audiences.
Placements.
Able to iterate based on data-driven insights.
8. Analytics & Reporting
Understand KPIs like:
CPM, CPC, CTR, ROAS, CPA.
Conversion rates across funnel steps.
Comfortable pulling and interpreting data in Meta Ads Manager and external dashboards.
9. Ad Policy Compliance
Know Meta’s ad policies inside and out, including:
Restricted content (finance, health, housing, etc.).
Text/image ratios.
Copy guidelines (e.g., no false claims).
10. Adaptability to Platform Changes
Keeping up with:
iOS14+ and its impact on tracking.
Meta algorithm changes.
New features like Advantage+ Shopping Campaigns or Instant Forms.
