The Principal Specialist, Global Trade Relationship Manager (GTRM) plays a key role in supporting the export and import control processes at Collins Aerospace, working within the Applied Signal Technology, Open Communication Systems, Secure Mission Solutions, and BMC2 & Autonomy Solutions value streams. In this position, you will collaborate closely with other Global Trade professionals to ensure compliance with ITAR and EAR regulations, offering strategic compliance guidance to business stakeholders in support of their key objectives and programs. What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand export licensing requirements to meet business needs
  • Assist stakeholders in developing export/import strategies needed to accomplish program objectives
  • Partner with GT Authorizations team to ensure timely completion of DDTC and BIS export license applications
  • Identify compliance risks, assist on audits and development of plans to eliminate/mitigate GT risks
  • Partner with business stakeholders to enable continuous improvement of the Collins GT Compliance Program

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • ​Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with both the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR)

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
