Description
Position at MAS

Job Title: Creative Strategist
Group/Team: Strategy
Reports to: Director of Creative Strategy
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt, Salaried
Travel Requirements: 30%, passport required

WHO WE ARE

MAS relentlessly pursues innovations and solutions that WOW to make lasting impressions for your brand. It’s the carefully considered colorful stage, content that teases new products and delights the viewer, that virtual platform that makes you feel like you are in the room together, and a customized pizza arriving at your door just in time for the show (seriously). We are obsessed with delivering MORE impactful and MORE magical moments that drop jaws, leave guests ecstatic, and give your brand the spotlight it deserves.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As an experience agency, evoking emotion is our specialty. Strategy is where that emotional connection is born. With our deep knowledge of consumers and culture, we deliver insights that drive strategic and creative direction for every piece of work in the agency. Our strategy team has a blended background in both experiential and brand strategy, with an emphasis on audience-centricity. Through our strategy work, MAS consistently delivers bold, captivating experiences that set the standard for experiential and deliver clear ROI for our clients.

Are you a natural storyteller? Smart, strategic thinker? Information junkie? Expert communicator? Passionate about social media? With awesome creative writing skills? You might make a great Creative Strategist at MAS. We’re looking for someone who has an entrepreneurial drive, with an insatiable appetite for helping brands reach and connect with their audience. This is a mid-level position within the Strategy group at MAS.

YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • 4 - 6 years working in strategy or marketing at an agency or brand.
  • Deep understanding of trends shaping consumer behavior across social platforms, with demonstrated expertise in translating social insights into experiential marketing strategies. You stay ahead of evolving platform algorithms, content formats, and engagement patterns that bridge physical and digital experiences.
  • Experience developing integrated social media strategies that amplify experiential marketing, including pre-event engagement, real-time activation tactics, and post-event content strategies that maximize ROI.
  • Great organizational and time-management skills. You can juggle multiple projects across different teams with shifting deadlines—and still deliver killer work with great attention to detail.
  • Client-facing experience. You’re confident and comfortable presenting, pitching, explaining a process, instilling trust, and generally just being awesome.
  • Amazing written, visual, and verbal communication skills. You’re comfortable taking complex information and making it easy to understand - in a conversation, or written down.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to contribute and excel regardless of the work setting. You can work autonomously and through ambiguity, in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Bonus points if you have a background in data & analytics.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • RESEARCH background on our client brands, their products, target audiences, and the competitive landscape to uncover insights that help inspire our strategic approach for projects. You'll excel at uncovering key audience insights across social platforms—getting lost in Reddit threads, analyzing engagement patterns, and identifying the conversations that matter to our clients' audiences.
  • CRAFT briefs for our clients and our creative team, and develop strong, concise strategic narratives with social-first approaches that help brands break through the noise online.
  • IDEATE concepts in collaboration with our creative teams, helping bring strategic impact to all of our projects. You’ll bring ideas to the table that leverage cultural trends and new technologies that make our work not only relevant but also create resonance beyond the experience itself.
  • MEASURE: Capture and cull data and measurement to ensure that every experience we do delivers impact for our clients. You’ll focus particularly on developing comprehensive social amplification strategies that extend experiential moments into broader digital campaigns. And at the end of the experience, you’ll analyze the data and package it into key insights and takeaways/metrics of success.
  • DEVELOP presentation decks for pitches — providing support, research, and insights for the overall strategy and creative concept(s). You should love translating strategy into a compelling story that drives the creative approach and clearly, concisely helps it all make sense. If you can take a 50-page deck and sum it up in 5 slides, you got this.
  • OWN client projects, developing them from initial briefing to strategic planning, and from creative concept to execution, to ensure they meet the original strategic and creative intent. Here’s where you can show off that entrepreneurial spirit and your leadership chops.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN RETURN

  • Full-time position
  • Opportunities for growth and development
  • Health & Dental Insurance (choice of plans)
  • 100% Employer-paid short-term disability and life insurance
  • Opportunity to elect additional life insurance and LTD insurance at employee expense
  • Paid parental leave
  • Opportunity to contribute pre-tax dollars to flexible spending accounts
  • 401(K) with employer match
  • Flexibility in work schedules
  • Generous time off
