Training will be Monday-Friday within the hours 8am-5pm. 

4 Day Work Week Option:
8:30-7 Monday & Tuesday & Friday required
Every other Sat required, 8-5

10:30-7 Monday & Tuesday required
Every other Sat required, 8:30-5

As a Retention Agent I, you will have the opportunity to acquire the Insurance industry knowledge necessary to achieve licensing (Personal Lines), with all training and associated costs covered by AAA Northeast! Supports the club's strategic initiatives by increasing revenue through the retention of our at-risk insurance customers. Preserves, sells, and cross-sells policies that best fit the needs of the customer. Building relationships through the delivery of the Five Diamond Service.

What you will do:

  • Identifies insured customers who are most likely to become a retention risk and contacts them in an effort designed to retain the customer and preserve existing in-force insurance policies. Identifies and contacts customers who may be eligible for premium rating discounts. Offers rewrite insurance policies to customers as new company products are introduced.
  • Provides telephone support by taking retention calls from at-risk customers. Handles inbound calls from marketing initiatives to promote policy reviews. Performs other job-related duties as required, according to department policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Promotes AAA Membership as an insurance benefit. Enrolls new members and reinstates or renew existing members to apply insurance discounts.
  • Participates in book roll initiatives to move Agency customers to Motor Club Insurance Company within the applicable AAA Northeast region. Sells and cross-sells insurance products as applicable.
  • Develop familiarity with various insurance carrier products, services, technology, and processes. Follow all agency processes and procedures in quoting and binding coverage, as well as receipt and processing of all member payments. Gain general knowledge of insurance practices, including the scope of an agent's authority.
  • Participate in sales programs designed to develop insurance prospects; maintain prospect files in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
