Lead Billing Operations at a Fast-Growing Ambulatory Infusion Company


Join IVX Health—one of the fastest-growing providers of outpatient infusion therapy—as our Director of Billing Operations. In this impactful role, you’ll lead a high-performing team and oversee billing strategy, operations, and performance, helping ensure every patient experience is supported by timely, accurate revenue cycle processes.


We’re looking for an experienced and mission-driven leader to manage and scale our centralized billing operations. You’ll be responsible for driving performance in charge entry, collections, and payment posting while partnering cross-functionally to support IVX’s continued growth. What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement billing strategies that drive accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with company goals
  • Lead and coach the billing operations team to deliver consistent, high-quality service
  • Standardize policies and workflows that ensure compliance and support national scalability
  • Drive process improvements and leverage automation to streamline operations
  • Collaborate across departments including Clinical, Operations, Product, Credentialing, and Contracting
  • Prepare billing teams for new markets, payors, and service lines
  • Track key metrics like collection rates, bad debt, and productivity to ensure performance transparency
  • Partner with Learning and Development to support onboarding and ongoing education
  • Mentor billing managers and support leadership development within the team
  • Identify and resolve systemic issues and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Stay informed on industry and legislative changes impacting billing and reimbursement

Wage Range:

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience and is benchmarked against similar organizations to our size and industry. For our Director, Billing Operations role, we generally pay new hires a base pay between $130,000 and $155,000. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for roles and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. In addition to cash pay, full-time regular positions are eligible for commissions/bonus, 401(k), health benefits, and other company benefits; some of these benefits may also be available for part-time positions.
