What you'll do
  • Develop and execute communications, digital and email marketing, and PR strategy to drive subscribers, engage key audiences, and enhance brand visibility
  • Produce high quality communications assets, including newsletter, social media, press releases, blog posts and other marketing materials
  • Work with a designer to put execute marketing assets, providing content for social posts, banners, animated ads, and some branding guidance
  • Work as an embedded consultant on the project team, liaising directly with government stakeholders to bring complex projects to completion

  • Required skills
  • 3-5 years of experience with developing and executing communications and/or marketing campaigns
  • Experience in a client-facing role and navigating dynamic stakeholder environment
  • Media relations experience, including crisis communications
  • Traditional communications experience, ie press releases, crisis comms, media relations
  • An adaptive, empathetic, collaborative, and positive mindset
  • An editor’s eye for clear storytelling and voice
  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to function in a ambiguous, flexible 
  • Agency experience would be a plus
  • Digital marketing experience would be a plus, ie social media ad buys, Google ad budgets, etc
  • This role is a temporary consultant opportunity. Position duration is expected to be 2-3 months.

    Compensation: $125/hourly

    Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
    Must meet any other requirements for government contracts for which candidates are hired.
