About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, curious intern to support our efforts in migrating Linux-based systems into Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will work closely with our infrastructure operations team, gaining real-world experience with cloud operations, infrastructure automation, and Linux systems administration.
This role is ideal for someone who’s comfortable on the command line, has some experience with Ansible, and is interested in how modern infrastructure is built and maintained in the cloud.

What You'll Do
  • Assist with migrating on-premise Linux servers into AWS
  • Write and modify Ansible playbooks for configuring and deploying AWS-hosted systems
  • Document existing infrastructure and assist with creating migration plans
  • Help test and validate migrated systems for reliability and performance
  • Work with engineers to troubleshoot issues in both local and AWS environments.

  • What You'll Need
  • Solid familiarity with the Linux command line (Ubuntu, RedHat, etc.)
  • Basic experience with Ansible (writing, running, or editing playbooks) is a plus
  • Interest in cloud infrastructure and a willingness to learn AWS services
  • Bonus: exposure to AWS services like EC2, VPCs, IAM, or S3.

  • What You'll Learn
  • How to plan and execute real-world Linux-to-AWS migrations
  • Managing cloud infrastructure with infrastructure-as-code practices
  • Core AWS services and best practices for security and automation
  • Troubleshooting and validating systems in both traditional and cloud environments.

  • Business Wire will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
