Position Overview
The Content Designer focuses on creating engaging, patient-friendly visual and written content that supports clinical trial awareness and enrollment. You will collaborate with designers, copywriters, and marketing strategists to craft compelling content that educates and inspires action across digital and print platforms.
What You'll Be Working On (Duties include but not limited to):Content Creation Develop visually compelling and informative content for patient recruitment campaigns, including social media, websites, emails, brochures, and digital ads. Translate complex medical and scientific information into clear, engaging, and accessible content for diverse audiences. Design user-centric visuals and layouts that enhance readability and patient engagement. Work with UX/UI designers to create seamless digital experiences for our websites and recruitment platforms.
Content Optimization Create and optimize infographics, illustrations, animations, and video content to improve engagement. Conduct A/B testing and optimize content based on performance analytics
Collaboration & Strategy Collaborate with medical and regulatory teams to ensure all content aligns with compliance guidelines. Stay updated on design trends, accessibility best practices, and clinical research marketing regulations.
Other Responsibilities Turn feedback into actionable improvements Other ad hoc responsibilities as needed Scope of Role:Autonomy of Role: Work is performed under general supervision Direct Reports: No Physical Requirements:This role requires 100% of work to be performed in a remote office environment and requires the ability to use keyboards and other computer equipment. Travel Requirements:This is a remote position with less than 10% travel requirements. Occasional planned travel may be required as part of the role. What You Bring (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):3+ years of experience in content design, graphic design, or visual storytelling, preferably in healthcare, clinical trials, or pharmaceutical marketing. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD), Figma, Canva, and video editing tools. Strong understanding of content strategy, UX writing, and visual hierarchy. Experience creating multi-platform content (social media, web, email, print, video). Ability to transform complex medical information into clear and engaging content. Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG), patient engagement strategies, and healthcare regulations is a plus. Experience working in regulated industries (pharma, biotech, healthcare) preferred. Certifications, Education, and Experience: Minimum of a GED required. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field preferred.
