About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Salesforce Quality Assurance Officer to join our dynamic technology team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for quality and a desire to develop their skills within the Salesforce ecosystem. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of our Salesforce platform, which is critical to our global operations at both ABX and Kinesis.

As a Junior Salesforce Quality Assurance, you will work closely with our Senior Salesforce QA Officer, Salesforce Developers, and Salesforce Administrators/Business Analysts to understand requirements, develop test plans, execute test cases, and identify and document defects. This role offers significant opportunities for learning and growth within a supportive and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and execution of test plans and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications for our Salesforce platform.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, and track software defects using our designated bug tracking system.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Salesforce QA Officer and development team to understand and resolve issues.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint retrospective, and other agile ceremonies, providing feedback on testability and quality risks.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and methodologies.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of test data and test environments.
• Support the Senior Salesforce QA Officer in ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
• Gain exposure to various Salesforce modules and integrations relevant to our business operations.
• Develop a strong understanding of our core business processes and how they are supported by Salesforce.
  

Requirements: 

• A foundational understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Salesforce Quality Assurance or Software Quality Assurance with a strong interest in transitioning to the Salesforce platform.
• Familiarity with the Salesforce platform or other CRM systems is highly desirable.
• Experience working within an Agile environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• A proactive and eager attitude towards learning new technologies and processes.
• Basic understanding of agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of Salesforce fundamentals and its various clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools.
• Exposure to bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
• Basic understanding of database concepts and SQL.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with relevant experience and demonstrable aptitude.
• Must be based in Malaysia, preferably within the Klang Valley region, to facilitate quarterly in-person meetings and events.
• A strong interest in software quality assurance and the Salesforce platform.
