We are looking for an experienced Manager of Content Marketing to help us grow and evolve our content strategy. As a part of the Global Brand and Communications team, you will help create and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy that supports Flexera’s core business objectives and helps position us as a leader in our respective industries. We are looking for a confident enterprise B2B writer that can guide our teams on how to develop engaging content for our core customer personas and counsel on the best vehicles to deliver desired program outcomes (whether thought leadership, leads, validation, etc).
You will help lead our global content strategy managing programs and vehicles such as our corporate editorial calendar, company blog, SEO content development (i.e. long form pages, how tos, 101s), AI search strategy, YouTube/video strategy and more.
This is a highly collaborative and visible role on the Marketing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and drive a comprehensive content marketing strategy that aligns to our business objectives, ensures engaging content that sits at every stage of the funnel for our core personas and positions the brand as an industry leader in ITAM, FinOps and SaaS Management
Define content marketing objectives, develop measurement plans and actively monitor/report on content performance
Serve as the trusted content advisor and support the development of materials in collaboration with Campaigns, Product Marketing, Field and Partner Marketing, Digital, Senior Leadership, etc. around thought leadership priorities, global events, product launches, and industry news; manage the corporate editorial calendar to align with priority programs and events
Oversee a comprehensive content audit with a view towards gaps in content based on topics, persona, funnel stage, etc.; ensure content inventory stays up to date as new content is developed or old content is retired
Write and oversee the production of high-quality content across formats, including blogs, whitepapers, eBooks, research-driven reports, press, social media, audio, and other vehicles
Develop, manage and maintain company blog, working closely with thought leaders and subject matter experts to ensure Flexera’s expertise and POV are clearly articulated
Optimize content for SEO and guide our AI search strategy, helping to transform Flexera content to better engage with changing AI search models and requirements
Oversee our YouTube strategy in close coordination with our Digital team
Help identify, train and manage new AI content tools to scale and accelerate content development; support development of ways of working process for Marketing and organization as new tools are introduced
Contribute to brand messaging guidelines in collaboration with Brand, helping to ensure consistent tone and voice
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5+ years of content development and strategy experience in enterprise tech
Project management experience preferred
Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills
Adept at picking up technical topics and distilling complex information for a variety of audiences
Able to think critically and offer strategic counsel, even in high-pressure situations
A team player who is always looking for the win-win opportunity
Aptitude for multi-tasking and prioritization in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Proficiency in using WordPress, YouTube and Writer AI is essential
Comfortable managing a global program that spans multiple regions and time zones
