Job Summary

What a typical day looks like:

  • Partner with a business segment leader to develop and deploy strategic planning objectives to build a dynamic organization that delivers significant and sustainable growth.
  • Advise and coach business leaders on matters related to talent management, including competency requirements, workforce planning, leadership selection, executive coaching, performance management, retention, succession planning, etc.
  • Partner with local HR teams and subject matter experts to develop and deliver integrated people and organization solutions, e.g., workforce and succession planning, leadership development, reward and recognition, etc.
  • *Partner with the COE’s to ensure we are advising the business with important decisions around talent
  • Anticipate talent implications and the impact to the organization. Identify issues and opportunities in closing organizational performance gaps and/or deploy effective tools and programs to achieve strategic vision and goals of the business.
  • Consult with business leaders and HR colleagues to develop and deliver a HR strategy to meet the business needs.
  • Plan, implement and facilitate HR initiatives (such as workforce planning, talent management and rewards planning).
  • Assist with HR communications and training of managers on new programs, systems and processes as required.
  • Manage and/or direct responsibilities of others, set goals and drive initiatives. 
  • Cascade business segment goals and objectives to optimize alignment between business and human capital strategies, ensuring effective implementation.
  • Drive efficiency and positive organizational results through HR initiatives, good practices, alignment of systems, processes and structures to drive the right people behavior and engagement.
  • Guide business leaders to Achieve increased and sustainable business results through prudent spending on the people costs and assist the business make informed decisions with regard to people investment. 
  • Support business on strategic HR matters, including organizational design and restructuring, talent management, career development, succession planning, retention plans, total rewards, etc. 
  • Consult with business and HR colleagues to develop and deliver a HR strategy to meet the business needs. 
  • Drive employee communications within own business segment (In example: including email, newsletters, town halls, round tables and display monitors)
  • Assist with HR communications and training of managers on new programs, systems and processes as required. 
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and investigations. 
  • Ensure the consistent treatment of employees and the consistent application of Flex policies and procedures. 
  • Research trends and metrics (such as exit interviews questionnaires) to develop solutions and or retention strategies. 
  • Advise and coach business teams on matters related to talent management, including skills requirements, workforce planning, business selection, coaching, performance management, retention, succession planning, etc. 
  • Partner with COEs and HR Service Center to develop and deliver integrated people and organization solutions 
  • Communication of key goals and priorities through written communications, presentation materials, and presenting to employees and business 
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conduct effective, thorough and investigations 
  • Ensure the consistent treatment of employees and the consistent application of Flex policies and procedures 
  • Research trends and metrics to develop solutions and retention strategies 
  • Foster and maintain positive working relationships with all employee levels 
  • Develop, facilitate and deliver consistent employee and manager targeted training on HR related topics 

Here’s what we're looking to add to our team:

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a Human Resource related function.  
  • Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of Human Resources or related experience in business with specific experience in HR, consulting, project management and change management. Ideally in a global company with presence of workforce in multiple countries across the globe
  • Must have demonstrated experience in workforce planning of resources, manage systems and understanding organizational design practice (HR systems, strategic planning of resources, types or organization, etc)
  • Financial awareness and understanding of budgets, P & L and HR contribution to achieve company goals
  • Experience minimum of 7 years supporting Global Shared Services groups in a multilayer structure, locations and areas of service (Global procurement, Engineering, Finance, Program Management, Information Technology or similar background)

Pay Range (Applicable to US Remote). Due to this role being remote, the actual pay range will vary depending on the geographical location of the candidate
$93,200.00 USD - $128,100.00 USD Annual
