HPE Customer Innovation Centres are strategic sales assets that provide clients, partners, and account teams the opportunity to explore a customer’s strategic business initiatives and learn how Hewlett Packard Enterprise is uniquely positioned to deliver business outcomes aligned to their industry and enterprise.
 
The role of a Business Operations and Strategic Programs Manager is highly specialised and requires advance understanding of the Customer Innovation Centre day to day operations for customers, partners, and team members, including the tools and processes for Centre teams and Account teams to drive growth, engage with customers and partners, and provide actionable insights through reporting and data analysis.  This role requires advance knowledge of the organisation structure as well as HPE corporate tools being used for reporting, finance, and IT.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Leads highly complex strategic, organisational, and operational initiatives, including business operations, budget, centre refreshes and builds, Alliance Partner sponsorships, metrics, analysis and insights, software support, dashboards and reporting, Executive Sponsorship Program, Discussion Leader Program, High Propensity Accounts Program, Visit Management tools and processes, team training programs and critical, time-sensitive projects to drive growth and achieve operational excellence and business continuity for 7 Global HPE Customer Innovation Centres
  • Provides strong leadership, develops and sets organisation goals, and acts as a change agent and leader 
  • Ensures the right tools and programs are in place to support team efforts and be the leader in Customer Innovation Centres
  • Manages and collaborates with global, virtual and cross-functional teams, and communicates to fully integrate strategic initiatives across businesses and regions
  • Creates quarterly business reports and insights for HPE CEO, executives and sales, and HPE Alliance Partners 
  • Secures MDF by creating agreements with Alliance Partners, executing deliverables and submitting claims with necessary requirements 
  • Leads the Executive Sponsor Program funnel health, engagement, awareness and communications, and governance
  • Supports, enables, and recognises Discussion Leaders through onboarding, enablement sessions, metrics and leaderboards 
  • Drives cross-functional collaboration, influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation by demonstrating business acumen and ensuring alignment with internal customer needs and broader organisational goals
  • Manages and fosters relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives 
  • Champions innovation and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and drive business growth 
  • Monitors operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring key business processes are efficiently executed 

 
Education and Experience Required:

  • 10+ years of experience leading business operations and programs
  • Advanced university degree (e.g. MBA) or demonstrable equivalent
  • People leadership experience
