  • Lead the regional change control process and support issue resolution and incident management.
  • Conduct operational analysis and develop annual sourcing strategies while managing supplier performance.

About the role

Senior Facilities professional with significant experience. Responsible for implementing functional strategies for Facilities team. Communicates with and influences senior function leaders regarding matters of significant importance. Responsible for improving processes of assessment and oversight for building and equipment to ensure proper functioning and optimal utilization of the organizations facilities.

Requirements

  • MA/MS degree with 7+ years’ experience (preferred); BA/BS degree with 10+ years’ experience.
  • 10+ years’ experience in facilities management, supply chain management, or other operations leadership.
  • 10+ years’ leading cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to exercise independent business judgment to drive strategy and results.
  • Proven ability to lead a regional team to achieve results through leadership & influence.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to lead analysis and resolution of complex problems where success requires the evaluation of both tangible and intangible variables.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required for due diligence, transition, and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Implement IFM models - Due diligence, transition, full implementation, and ongoing performance.
  • Manage local relationships with providers.
  • Oversee local customer relationship management with Carrier BUs
  • Work directly with site FM leads to prepare, approve and monitor budgets / capital plans.
  • Lead regional change control process and escalate issues to global leadership / Steering Committee.
  • Support issue resolution, incident management and regional communications
  • Provide strategic leadership and commodity oversight to maximize business value and results.
  • Operational and spend analysis, development and execution of annual sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, supplier performance management & operational support.
  • Partners with internal clients and stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and improve sourcing strategy. Leading frequent meetings, project development, negotiation and execution are key deliverables.
  • Analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.
  • Responsible for overall relationship with one or multiple strategic accounts across a given commodity.
  • Ensures supplier or commodity is performing to the designed requirements from delivery, quality and cost perspective.
