Overview

We’re seeking a Senior Security Engineer with a strong focus on mobile applications to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the security approach of mobile-first applications across a diverse portfolio of clients, including startups, scale-ups, and enterprise partners.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement security best practices across mobile platforms (Android, iOS, and web-integrated experiences, considering many of them will be developed with Flutter).
  • Conduct mobile application threat modeling, code reviews, and penetration testing.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams to define secure architecture patterns, particularly for cross-platform mobile applications.
  • Lead security incident response and forensics related to mobile systems.
  • Stay up to date with the latest mobile security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Mobile Top 10, RASP), tools, and exploits—and proactively manage risk.
  • Contribute to internal security standards and policies, and evangelize secure development practices across the organization.
  • Guide and mentor developers in secure coding practices, mobile platform-specific risks, and privacy considerations.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on mobile platforms.
  • Deep knowledge of mobile operating systems (Android/iOS), their security models, and common attack vectors.
  • Experience with secure mobile application development and relevant tools (e.g., static/dynamic analysis tools, reverse engineering frameworks) and 3rd-party services (eg. NowScure, AppDome…)
  • Proficiency in reading and writing code in at least one mobile stack: Dart (Flutter), Kotlin/Java (Android), Swift/Objective-C (iOS), TypeScript (web)
  • Familiarity with securing mobile CI/CD processes and mobile backend APIs
  • Experience with app store security guidelines, compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR), or mobile MDM and enterprise app distribution.
