Job description

AT A GLANCE

The Sr Data Analyst position supports and validates the Off-Benefit line of business network set ups and unit cost management activities through financial and network pricing modeling, analysis, and reporting. The position conducts unit cost and contract valuation analysis in support of pharmacy guarantee management, network contracts, and unit cost management strategies. Responsibilities also include managing data integrity, managing pricing models, performance reporting, and associated processes and procedures.

What You’ll Do
  • Managing the pricing details for clients and pharmacies to meet contract terms
  • Creating and updating pricing models to quantify the impact of changes and reviewing client/pharmacy performance to stay competitive in the market, ensure accurate pricing, and manage profit margins
  • Keeping Networks up to date to ensure accurate pricing and set-ups are correct
  • Documentation of output related to core job functions
  • Assisting with projects on an ad-hoc basis
  • Dashboard maintenance, creation, and automation using data visualization tools
  • Creating forecasts and financial impact analysis
  • Working with big data to model and find trends and offering solutions to fix any issues found as needed
  • Working with SQL and Excel daily
  • Summarize insights and recommendations that are presented during regular Senior Leadership meetings.
What We’re Looking For
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • 4+ years of experience in a position monitoring, managing, manipulating, and drawing insights from data
  • 3+ years of experience writing SQL queries and manipulating data in Excel
  • Experience building models and forecasts and drawing conclusions from them
  • Experience working with and creating tables and dashboards and using all relevant data to make informed decisions
  • Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
  • PBM and/or Pharmacy Pricing Experience preferred

  • Starting Salary: $97,500 - $110,000 
    *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications and experience
