ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Sales Strategy: Evaluate customer needs and develop tailored sales strategies, including the integration of charging hardware, software, and services.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Provide customer feedback to the Product Management team to help with product improvement and updates.
  • Channel Management: Collaborate with the after-sales team to manage and develop the sales and service partner network.
  • Sales Execution: Actively engage with customers through various channels (face-to-face meetings, phone calls, emails) to drive sales opportunities.
  • Sales Reporting: Utilize CRM (Salesforce) to accurately track and report on sales activities and results.
  • Market Insights: Stay updated on EV charging market trends and provide recommendations to address evolving customer needs.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and close agreements, including frame and purchasing agreements.
  • Market Representation: Represent the company at industry exhibitions and seminars to expand business opportunities.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in EV technology or power electronics a plus.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving top-performer status. 
  • Strong understanding of the EV charging industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS (PREFERRED): 

  • Experience working in an international environment. • Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for innovation.
