Position Overview
The primary focus of this role is to foster community engagement, awareness and education on clinical research, and increase community access to clinical trials to support US Site Network enrollment goals.
What You'll Be Working On
Duties include but not limited to:
-Strategic Leadership: Act as a proactive, cross-functional leader, integrating community engagement activities with broader organizational objectives
-Develop and execute community event strategies, including communication, staffing, and processes for events of various scales
-Relationship building: Mentor Community Engagement Partners to forge strong partnerships with local organizations, clubs, and faith groups to execute meaningful events and campaigns that resonate with community needs.
-Exceptional Communication: Deliver clear, engaging presentations to both individuals and groups. Translate complex concepts into easily understandable terms for a general audience. Deliver engaging presentations to diverse audiences, simplifying complex concepts for general understanding.
-Support Site Network in converting community referrals to study enrollments
Other Responsibilities
-Act as a trusted advisor to the Community Engagement and Site Network Leadership teams, assisting in strategic planning and execution of key initiatives
-Liaise with other Care Access teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring cohesion with company-level projects
-Establish benchmarks for successful and effective programs/events, regularly assessing and adjusting strategies to meet intended goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
-Develop and execute community event strategies, including communication, staffing, and processes for events of various scales
-Develop cross-functional communication processes to ensure smooth event execution with minimal escalations
-Create and implement metrics and KPIs aligned with company goals, tracking and reporting results to executive leadership
-Assist with orchestration of people, travel, budgets, external parties, and vendors on community team-led initiatives to meet strategic goals
-Continuously assess and improve event coordination processes, forecasting and addressing potential challenges
-Oversee community event staff performance, compliance, and service levels

Physical Requirements
· This role requires 100% of work to be performed in a remote office environment and requires the ability to use keyboards and other computer equipment.
Travel Requirements
·This role requires up to 25% travel requirements further explained below. Length of travel will depend upon study requirements, staff needs, and company initiatives.

-Experience in cross-functional collaboration and project management.
-Experience with logistics management and ability to coordinate complex systems and staffing to ensure people and goods are where they need to be, when they need to be there
-Proficiency in data tracking, process refinement, and report building.
-Comfortable working under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
-Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and maintain deliverables.
-Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and implement best practices.

Certifications, Education, and Experience:
· A minimum of 10 years of experience in Clinical Research; demonstrating a track record of strategic leadership and community engagement.
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
· Program and People Management experience
· Professional experience in Community Development, Community Organizing, Public Health, Social Work, or related field.
· Experience planning an organizing events and campaigns
· Proven track record of autonomous project initiation and completion
· Healthcare credentialing and advanced scientific or public health education are preferred.
Licenses:
· Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License (Valid / Authorized to Drive in Canada and the US)
Must have and maintain safe driving record and submit to Motor Vehicle Record Check
