HOW AN IT SERVICE & TECHNICAL STRATEGY CONSULTANT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Lead IT strategy and technical consulting engagements, aligning ITSM, Agile, and enterprise frameworks with business objectives through direct consulting efforts on new program wins.
  • Drive end-to-end program delivery, ensuring seamless execution from planning to transition, enabling teams for long-term success.
  • Facilitate technical and operational governance, ensuring compliance with industry best practices, ITIL, Agile, and ITSM frameworks.
  • Assess organizational readiness and process maturity, ensuring teams are aligned with ITIL, Agile, facilitating workshops, and cross-functional discussions, aligning with customer goals.

  • Serve as a visionary and technical strategist, driving alignment between ITSM, Agile, digital transformation initiatives, and mission objectives.
  • Engage directly with Growth and Delivery teams to provide subject matter expertise in ITSM for active efforts across the Defense Division.
  • Familiarity with multiple ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, BMC, Jira, etc.), ability to tailor implementations, optimize workflows, and advise on integration strategy and platform

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of additional work in lieu of a degree
  • Required Experience: 15+ years of progressive technical implementation, team leadership, and customer relationship experience. Deep knowledge in ITIL 4 practices (Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration, Knowledge, Event, etc.),
  • Desired Technical Skills: ITSM Tools & Platforms (ServiceNow, BMC Helix/Remedy, or JIRA) especially ITSM, ITOM, ITAM modules. Experience with workflow and automation/integration across platforms. Broad technical literacy across infrastructure, platforms, integrations, and tools.
  • Desired Certifications: ITIL Expert or Managing professional, Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Security Clearance Level: Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance with SCI
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills that enable innovative design and technical thought leadership in a fast-evolving environment.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience working with Government Customers, specifically the US Military. 
  • Location: Remote.  25-50% travel.
  • US Citizenship is required

The likely salary range for this position is $172,550 - $233,450. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
