Oversee various professional scientific and technical projects of a highly complex nature without supervision. Assemble project team, assign individual responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, develop and manage schedule to ensure timely completion of projects; partner with customers for planning, contract management, issue resolution and risk mitigation; manages day-to-day operations of contract support and support team, inclusive of sub-contractor management.

Manages support services and projects CONUS and OCONUS.
Develop, evaluate, and updates project plans including project objectives, scope of work, deliverables, technologies, operational requirements and assignment, task, or other specifications.
Maintains familiarity with the contract scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
Coordinates with multiple internal and external groups.
Disseminates information on any problems or potential delays and mitigation plans.
Manages all phases of assigned programs from inception through completion.
Manages all aspects of customer interface, including requirements of cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Manages project deliverables and progress through continuous communication with project members and customers.
Participates in negotiation of requirements and requirements changes.
Remains aware of any potential problems and works to mitigate any risks.
Supervise/manage a project team of approximately 120 and provide input towards hiring/firing/performance/staff decisions.
Assists with identifying, reviewing and selecting vendors or consultants.
Recommends and implements improvements to the PMO.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Project Manager III Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
Bachelor’s Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and 10 years of program management experience required, and five years of technical experience is required.
Program management experience must include at least 5 years managing IDIQ Task Order contracts with a team of up to 120 full time employees.
Master’s degree preferred.
Experience with implementing large-scale projects.
Preferred experience with projects supporting forensic toxicology, medico-legal death investigations, and/or forensic DNA analytical services.
Preferred experience in DoD forensic program support.
Advanced working knowledge of project management, creating, and implementing project schedules, and managing project teams and budgets.
Risk mitigation and issue resolution.
Solution oriented with proven capability to realize results.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to lead, mentor and advise large teams.
Working knowledge of MS product suite: Excel, Word, SharePoint; Project Management software and DoD reporting systems.
Complete a NACI investigation.
